Terms and conditions of payment

Bookings and any additional services purchased online are charged once you accept the terms and conditions or once your card payment of the specified amount is accepted. Please note that bookings marked as ‘non-refundable’ are subject to specific terms and conditions.

Cancellations 

We offer 24 hour prior to check-in free cancellation service.

Name changes are permitted at no extra cost. 

Cancellations / amendments must be notified in writing by e-mail to info@hotelrunavik.fo.

 

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is after 14:00, and check-out is before 11:00.

 

Hotel Runavík is staffed day and night. However, we do recommend notifying our Reception if you plan to arrive after 22:00 at night. Please call +298 66 33 33 to let us know. Guests may book a late check-out for a charge, but must arrange this with Reception.

We only take bookings from guests over 18 years old. Children and youth must travel with a guardian or responsible adult.

 

We offer our guests free breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00 in the morning.

 

Smoking

Hotel Runavík is a smoke-free facility, this includes all the rooms and event venues. However, guests may smoke outside in specifically designated areas. The guest named on a room booking is responsible for ensuring compliance with this rule. Failure to comply with this rule will incur a DKK 2,500 charge for special cleaning. This charge will be payable by the named guest. The same applies to e-cigarettes and vapes in all forms. 

 

Animals

Animals are not permitted at the hotel – with the exception of guide dogs.

Hotel Runavík offers free parking.
